Juliet Kinsman

Juliet Kinsman has spent more than two decades celebrating the world’s most special places to stay and her hotel expertise appears in columns for The Telegraph and Condé Nast Traveller.

Founding editor of Mr & Mrs Smith, meeting philanthropic hoteliers and working with award-winning luxury brands inspired her to create her Bouteco platform specifically to share enlightening stories of sustainability.

As a hotel consultant she helps brands stand for something and stand out for it and as a broadcaster she shares her tips on BBC Radio London, as a talking head on TV, a keynote speaker or panelist at industry and consumer events and she presented a show produced by Outline about hotels for the Discovery Channel (2006).

She’s explored the world, staying in stylish hotels from Sydney to South Africa and she knows what guests want from a charming B&B, inner-city design hotel or a five-star spa, and what makes the hospitality industry tick. London is home, but she has enjoyed spells living in Bali, New York, Athens, India; you could say she’s slept around.

She’s currently writing a guide to green travel to be published by Ebury.
