George Clarke

George Clarke is an architect.  He is also a writer, lecturer and TV presenter.


George is the presenter of several very successful series for television, including Channel 4’s  Amazing Spaces, Remarkable Renovations, Ugly House to Lovely House, Restoration Man, Shed of the Year, The Great British Property Scandal,  and Old House, New Home to name just a few.


George’s design talent and passion for beautiful buildings has transformed the homes and lives of so many people across Britain. George was born and raised in Sunderland and from the age of 12 wanted to be an architect. After studying architecture at the University of Newcastle and University College London, George started his own practice. In 2011 George set up his new company George Clarke + Partners. George Clarke + Partners is an inspirational, new, multidisciplinary company that covers all aspects of architecture, design, project management, construction and property development.

George also is the founder of MOBIE, an educational charity and is the ambassador of charities such as Shelter.
