Ashley Edwards

Ashley Edwards is a qualified horticulturist and horticultural therapist having trained at Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew.   He’s  currently new Crocus Head Gardener.  Ashley’s career focus has been connecting people with plants. More recently this has been via media roles on TV, radio, garden writing and personal appearances, as well as practicing horticultural therapy in his previous Head Gardener role at National Charity, Horatio’s Garden.

His work has taken him across the world to garden in America and Italy.  Beyond the practical skills of cultivating plants, he understands the profound impact that gardening can have on mental health. This insight has led Ashley to become a staunch advocate for the therapeutic benefits of gardening, firmly believing that it holds the key to enhancing overall well-being.  He also wants to promote diversity in the gardening industry and how gardening can change people’s life.
